Age 51
Husband of Wendy for 14 years.
Devoted father of Travis,17 and Brendan, 12.
Son of Marcel and Terry.
Brother of Marguerite (Dave), Mary (Dan), Mike (Melissa), Pat, Ann Marie (Jim) and Paulette.
Son-in-law of Tom and Barbara Hoffmeyer.
Also survived by several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and a whole host of friends and colleagues.
Joe was dedicated to mentoring young athletics.
He served for 30 years as a Southfield firefighter and retired this past December.
Joe lived every second of everyday to the fullest.
Visitation Monday, 2-9pm at O'Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home, 41555 Grand River, Novi, (248) 348-1800. Funeral service Tuesday at 11:30am at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to BMT Program, In memory of Marcel Charette, 5303 Cancer Center – SPC 5941, 1500 East Medical Center, Ann Arbor, MI 48109-5941.
