Margaret Germaine Kelly peacefully passed away on September 24, 2023 at the age of 101 in Howell, Livingston County, Michigan.
She was born on May 3, 1922, to Margaret E. (Liesenfelt) and James L. FitzGerald in Detroit, Michigan. Margaret, lovingly referred to as "Kelly" by her family and friends, was a remarkable woman who lived her life with an unwavering passion for her loved ones.

Her career path led her to become a dedicated Bank Teller for Manufacturers Bank in Detroit, Michigan. She served her community with professionalism and a warm smile, leaving a lasting impact on those she encountered. Outside her professional life, she found fulfillment in volunteering at Providence Hospital in Novi, Michigan. Her compassionate nature and desire to help others made her an invaluable asset to the hospital.

Family was at the core of her existence and she cherished every moment spent with loved ones. She is survived by Beth Thomas/daughter, Judy Van Loon/daughter, Suzanne Dugas/daughter, Colleen Kelly/daughter, Larry Kelly/son, Gregory Kelly/son and Timothy Kelly/son. She is a proud Grandma to 8 Grandchildren, 21 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great Great Grandchildren. She deeply valued her family connections and leaves a legacy of love and devotion.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Harry Raymond Kelly, sister Elaine Wint, sister Carolyn McFall, and son Michael Kelly. The memories she shared with them will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her.

"Kelly" will be remembered for her zest for life, her genuine love for her family and her selflessness towards others. Her passing leaves a void n the lives of those who knew her but her spirit will continue to inspire and guide us.

A viewing/service will be held on Sunday October 1, 2023 1:00-3:00, with a Celebration of Life beginning at 3:00 pm at O'Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home, 41555 Grand River Blvd, Novi Michigan.
