Lucy M. Bolla, age 94, passed away peacefully on November 24, 2025. Born on May 22, 1931, in Detroit, Michigan, she was the cherished only child of Sarkis and Martha (Chahnamian) Arabian.

Lucy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Elmer "Al" Bolla, with whom she shared 58 wonderful years of marriage. Together they built a loving family and a lifetime of memories.

She was the devoted mother of Chris (Lisa) Bolla and Steven (Deanna) Bolla, and the proud, doting grandmother of Nicole, Evan, Rachel, Julia, and Nicholas. Nothing brought Lucy more joy than spending time with her family, and she embraced every opportunity to laugh, play, and celebrate with those she loved.

Lucy lived life with a spirit of fun and friendship. She enjoyed golfing, bowling, working out at the gym with her friends, and playing cards—always ready to try anything that promised a good time. While at Rose Senior Living, she became affectionately known as "the Mayor," a testament to her warm personality and ability to make others feel welcome and at ease.

She worked as a secretary for Sun Oil Co. and Ford Motor Company, balancing her professional life with her most treasured role as a mother. She also devoted time to giving back to her community, volunteering in service to others at the Capuchin Soup Kitchen.

Memorial contributions in Lucy's honor may be made to the Capuchin Soup Kitchen .

Visitation will be held on Friday from 11:00 a.m.-2:30 p.m., with a service at 2:30 p.m. at the O'Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home, 41555 Grand River, Novi, MI 48375

Lucy will be laid to rest beside her dear husband Al at Rural Hill Cemetery in Northville, Michigan.

Lucy will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her kindness, humor, and love will remain forever in the hearts of her family and friends.
