Louis Darrel Palmer
February 17, 1945 – April 19, 2023

Louis Darrel Palmer, 78, of Novi, Michigan, passed away peacefully on April 19, 2023, at Angela Hospice, in Livonia, Michigan. He was born in Detroit, Michigan to parents Louis and Marie Palmer. He graduated from Wilbur Wright High School. After graduating he met the love of his life Susan. He enlisted in the US Navy and spent many years continuing his education in electronic and radar technologies.
During the time that he served his country, he married Susan, and together with their newborn son, traveled the country exploring as they traveled from base to base, and falling deeper in love with each other. After approximately nine years Louis left the service, and started a career working for Calcomp, in the large-format printing industry. In his later years he started his own firm, Plot 1, selling and servicing this type of equipment.
Louis had an amazing talent of knowing a lot about a lot. If you needed help you could always call on him and he would jump right in to lend a hand. Electrical, plumbing, construction, computers, technology, he was your go to guy.
Louis is survived by his wife Susan, his son Eric Palmer (Lisa), along with two wonderful grandchildren Matthew and Chloe Palmer. He is proceeded in death by his parents Louis and Marie Palmer, siblings Vernon Palmer, Sharon Isaac, Phil Palmer (Robin), and Danny Palmer (Pam)
A private memorial will take place at a later date to celebrate his life.
