Linda M. McMillan

Linda M. McMillan, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, teacher, and artist, passed away peacefully on May 30, 2025, in Novi, Michigan, at the age of 77.
Born on September 19, 1947, in Detroit, Michigan, Linda devoted her life to family, creativity, and education. She was the cherished wife of William Arthur McMillan and the loving mother of Jennifer Lynn Bennett (Marc), William Arthur McMillan II (Laura), and Brian Michael McMillan (Lesley). Her legacy continues through her treasured grandchildren—Jacob, Joseph, Julia, and James Bennett; Shelby, Billy III, Floyd, and Samantha McMillan—and her great-granddaughter, Elizabeth McMillan.
Linda shared a close bond with her sisters, Mary Kay Viglione (Dennis), Patti Fica (Ted), and Lori Brandenberg (Gary), and she held her extended family and lifelong friends dear to her heart.
A passionate and gifted educator, Linda retired after many years of teaching art at All Saints Catholic School, where she inspired countless students with her creativity and love for the arts. She held a bachelor's degree in Fine Arts and was a master in printmaking for two years. Her artistic talents were expressed not only through printmaking but also in painting and doll-making, hobbies she pursued with great joy and skill.
Linda's warmth, imagination, and gentle spirit touched everyone who knew her. Her home was filled with laughter, love, and the beauty she created with her hands and her heart.
Memorial visitation will take place on Friday, June 13, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the Memorial Service at 4:00 p.m. at O'Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home in Novi, Michigan.
Linda's final resting place will be at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all whose lives she touched.
