In Loving Memory of Linda Diana Falconer
January 14, 1954 – April 13, 2025
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Linda Diana Falconer, who departed this life on April 13, 2025, at the age of 71. Linda's life was a testament to love, laughter, and unwavering devotion to her family and friends.
Born on January 14, 1954, Linda brought light and joy to every room she entered. She will be remembered as a loving mother, a devoted grandmother, a thoughtful sister, and a dear friend. Her warm spirit, infectious sense of humor, and ability to see the good in everyone touched the lives of all who knew her.
Before enjoying her well-deserved retirement, Linda served as a head Bank Teller at Comerica Bank, where she was known for her reliability, warmth, and professionalism. In retirement, she found great joy in life's simpler pleasures—sleeping in, watching her favorite shows, sewing, cooking, nurturing her plants, and, most of all, spending precious time with her family.
Linda had a special bond with her grandchildren, whom she adored and supported with endless love and pride. Whether attending their events, telling stories from her treasured photo albums, or just being present, she made everyone feel uniquely loved and seen. She was a gentle soul with a green thumb, a kind heart, and a memory like no other—always remembering the important milestones and little details of the people around her.
Linda found great happiness in nature, especially during family camping trips up north, and she cherished riding alongside her beloved husband James on his motorcycle. Though she is no longer with us, her memory will forever ride on in the hearts of those who loved her.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 48 years, James, her brother Frank, and her parents Francis and Aileen. She is survived by her children James (Amy) and Nicole (Eric); her grandchildren Brandon, Sibley, Colton, Ella, and Hanna; her siblings Judi and Brian (Sheri); her dearest friend Debbie; and many extended family members and friends whose lives were enriched by her love.
A visitation will be held on Friday, April 18, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at O'Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home, 41555 Grand River Ave, Novi, MI 48375. A Scripture Service and Sharing of Memories will begin at 7:00 pm.
Linda will be laid to rest on Saturday, April 19, 2025, with a Committal Service at 10:00 am at White Chapel Memorial Park Cemetery, 621 W Long Lake Rd, Troy, MI 48098.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Linda's memory to
St. Jude Children's Research Hospital
, a cause close to her heart.
Linda's kindness, joy, and endless love will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
