Beloved husband of Dorothy.
Dear father of Jim (Nancy), John (Livia), Joanne (Don) Denyer, Bob (Diane), Cindy(Jim)Howell, Richard (Kathy), Diane (Jim) Taylor, Carol (Brian) McGorisk.
Proud Grandfather of 27.
Brother of Doris Thomas.
Lewis attended St. Mary of Redford and then graduated from the Sacred Heart Seminary. He served in the United States Marine Corp during WWII and he received the Purple Heart. After his return from the service, he graduated from the University of Detroit in 1948 and spent his career with the Equitable Insurance Company.
Visitation at the O'Brien Sullivan Funeral Home 41555 Grand River Novi 248-348-1800. Tuesday 3-8pm Vigil Service Tuesday at 7:30pm.
In state at Holy Family Church 24505 Meadowbrook Novi Wednesday 10:00 until the funeral Liturgy at 10:30am
Interment at Great Lake National Cemetery Holly, Michigan Thursday at 2:30pm
