It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Laura D. Majewski on May 26, 2024, at the age of 67. She leaves behind her beloved spouse of 28 years, Donna M. Choma, and she was co-parent to Jessica and Jeremy.
Laura was the devoted daughter of Theresa (Balabuch) Majewski and the late Richard Majewski. She was a dear sister to Paula (Patrick) Crandall, Andrea (Eric) Vermandere, Bill (Adrienne) Majewski, Mark (Shivani) Majewski, and Alan Majewski. Her family and friends will deeply miss her presence, warmth, and love.
Laura's academic journey led her to earn an undergraduate degree in nursing from Oakland University, followed by a master's degree in nursing from Madonna University. As an Informatics Nurse, she made significant contributions by implementing computer systems and working in various hospitals across the area, helping to improve patient care through technology.
Beyond her professional achievements, Laura found joy in numerous hobbies. She loved floating in the lake, fishing off the dock, and camping. Listening to audiobooks was a favorite pastime along with creating colorful art projects.
Visitation will be June 5, 2024, from 2-8:00 pm at O'Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home 41555 Grand River, Novi. Laura's cremains will be interred at Resurrection Cemetery, where she will rest in peace.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Laura's memory to Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation .
Laura's legacy of love, laughter and her creative spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
