Lawrence "Larry" G. Haffey, died Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at the age of 89. Mr. Haffey was a Veteran of the United States Army and a retired home builder. Larry is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Theresa Haffey. He is also survived by his five children, Charles (Terri), Dennis (Debbie), David (Linda), Bruce (Cynthia), and Stephen (Marielos) Haffey; twelve grandchildren, Shannon (Craig), Bryn, Peter, James, Patrick, Brendan, Morgan, Carlyn, Kiefer, Austin, Parker, and Gabriel; three sisters, Anna Flanigan, Margaret Olsen, and Bernadette (Ronald) Walsh; one brother, Eugene (Beatrice) Haffey. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2-8 pm at O'Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home, 41555 Grand River Avenue, Novi (248) 348-1800 with a scripture service at 7:00 pm. Instate at Holy Family Church, 24505 Meadowbrook Road, Novi on Monday from 10:00 am until time of funeral liturgy 10:30 am. Memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association or www.alz.org .
