Lawrence "Larry" Crepeau, age 72, passed away peacefully at home on September 18, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Detroit, Michigan, Larry dedicated 36 years of service to United Parcel Service before retiring in 2012.
Beloved husband of Susan for 52 wonderful years, Larry was the devoted father of Jenny (Frank), Matt, and Adam, and the adoring grandfather of Caden and Nick. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard and Leona Crepeau, and is survived by his cherished siblings Joe (Ingrid), Frank (Nancy), Laura (Jim), and Mary (the late Mike), as well as many nieces and nephews who held a special place in his heart.
Larry's greatest joy was his family. His children were his favorite hobby, and he never missed a baseball game, tennis match, or lacrosse event. A proud "band dad" and "drumline dad," he was always ready to help with equipment and cheer on the team. Summers were spent floating on a raft in his pool, visiting water parks, camping, and traveling to baseball games with his grandsons, creating treasured memories that will last forever.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 26, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at O'Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home, 41555 Grand River Avenue, Novi (248-348-1800). A funeral service will be celebrated at the funeral home on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Angela Hospice or the Alzheimer's Association in Larry's honor.
Larry's kindness, dedication, and unwavering love for his family will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
