Kim's journey began in the Farmington Hills area, where he spent his formative years. A proud alumnus of the University of Michigan, Kim's commitment to education was a testament to his lifelong pursuit of knowledge and excellence.

Kim's life went in a new direction when he married Rachel, the love of his life. Together they raised a blended family of Julia, Leslie (Benjamin), and Sheldon. Kim reveled in the joy of being a grandfather to Eleanor, Madison, and Juliette, finding immense delight in their laughter and innocence.

As the owner and operator of his family business in commercial construction, Kim was a dedicated and hardworking individual. His tireless efforts not only provided for his family but also left an indelible mark on the community he served. Kim's work ethic and commitment to excellence were truly admirable, earning him the respect of colleagues and peers alike.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects and celebrate Kim's life at the visitation, which will be held at the O'Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home, 41555 Grand River Ave., Novi, 48375, on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
