Kenneth Hoskins
January 15, 1960 – January 31, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kenneth "Ken" Hoskins, who died on January 31, 2025, at the age of 65. Ken was born on January 15, 1960, in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Alice (Davidoff) and Otis Hoskins.

Ken was the beloved husband of Diane (Livesey) for 20 years. He was a loving father to Aaron (Ashley) Hoskins and Joshua Hoskins, and a loving step-father to Jason Poremba and Brittany (Dave) Calhoun. He was an adoring grandfather to Bret, Lucas, Joel, Avian, Avea, Aurora, Caleb, and Liam.

Ken was a man of great faith and heart. He worked as a truck driver for many years, and his dedication to his family and work was unwavering. A long-time member of the First United Methodist Church of Northville, he was actively involved in the Men's Club, Stephen Ministries, and Northville Civic Concern, where he gave selflessly to others of his time, talents, and love.

Ken loved the outdoors, particularly camping in Ludington Michigan, and he will be remembered for his kindness, strength, and unwavering belief in helping others. His family, friends, and all who knew him will miss his infectious spirit and generosity.

Ken was preceded in death by his dear sister, Bonnie Hoskins, and by his loyal canine companion of 17 years, Willard.

A memorial celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 29 at 10:30 am at the First United Methodist Church of Northville (777 W. Eight Mile Road). A luncheon at the church will be held immediately afterward. Everyone who loved Ken is welcome.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be directed to the Michigan Humane Society in Ken's honor. www.michiganhumane.org
