Beloved husband of the late June E. Cummins for 63 years.
Loving father of Joan (Bill), Michael (Suzan), Patti, Tim (Atsuko), Peggy (Craig) and Kathi.
Cherished grandfather of Scott, Dustin, Matthew, Nicole, Erin, Troy, Jennifer, Daniel and Patrick.
Brother of Larry (Barbara) Cummins.
Dear uncle to many nieces and nephews.
In his early career Ken taught Civil Engineering at the University of Detroit and later took his family to Bangkok, Thailand for a 2 year professorship at the SEATO Graduate School of Engineering. In his career as a practitioner he was an active member and Fellow of the Engineering Society of Detroit and the Michigan Society of Professional Engineers for over 65 years. Later in life Ken was an active in the Knights of Columbus and the American Legion for many years.
Visitation at O'Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home, 41555 Grand River Avenue, Novi 248-348-1800, Monday 2-9 pm with Rosary at 7:00 pm.
In state Tuesday 10 am until funeral liturgy at 10:30 am at Church of the Holy Family, 24505 Meadowbrook Road, Novi.
