Obituary for Kay Ellen Dziuban

Kay Ellen Dziuban, of Michigan, passed peacefully on November 24, 2025. Born April 21, 1959, in Detroit, Kay lived a life filled with warmth, joy, and unwavering generosity. Her radiant smile and kind spirit touched everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Beloved wife of John for 37 beautiful years, Kay was the devoted mother of Jenny (Chris) Berkley and the proud, joy-filled grandmother of Georgia, Drew, and Logan. She was the cherished sister of Mark (Ellen) King and Cheryl (Edward) White, and a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Kay and her brother Mark co-owned Mark's Small Engines and Outdoor Power Equipment for 43 years, a partnership built on dedication, hard work, and family pride. Known for her positive energy, Kay created a welcoming atmosphere wherever she went—customers and friends alike felt at home in her presence.
An avid lover of the outdoors, Kay embraced every season and every adventure. She found happiness cycling, windsurfing, rollerblading, snowboarding, and tending to her garden and small farm. Her deep affection for animals—especially cats—was a defining part of her gentle, nurturing nature.
Kay's life will be honored with visitation at O'Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home, 41555 Grand River Novi, on Friday, November 28, 2025, from 4–8 p.m. She will lie in state at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 9565 Musch Road, Brighton, Michigan, on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society, reflecting Kay's lifelong love and care for animals.
