Kathleen S. Blahunka, was called to eternal glory on Sunday, January 5, 2020 in Ann Arbor, MI at the age of 58. Beloved wife and best friend of Stephen Blahunka for the past 32 years. Loving mother of Matthew and Stephanie. Dear daughter of Howard and Suzanne Bank of Freeland, MI. Loving sister of David (Kathy) Bank, Sarah (John) Fowler, and Jennifer (Tom) Roeske. Also survived by many wonderful aunts and uncles, cousins, and nieces and nephews. Family and friends were everything to Kathy and her kind, selfless, beautiful soul will live forever in each and every one she loved.

Kathy was a dedicated first grade teacher for over 20 years, and was committed to helping children learn to read and write. Her love of teaching touched the lives of over 500 young eager minds.

Visitation at the O'Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home, 41555 Grand River Avenue, Novi, 248-348-1800 on Thursday, January 9, 2020 from 2:00 PM - 9:00 PM with a prayer at 7:00PM.
Instate Friday, January 10, 2020 at Hope Lutheran Church, 39200 W 12 Mile Road, Farmington Hills from 10:00 AM until time of Funeral Service 11:00 AM with burial and celebration of life lunch to follow.
