Karen Ann Rambow passed away appx. 3:00 AM 12-30-22 from heart failure and various other physical complications that she had battled for years. She was born in Detroit, on 5-27-60, to Casmir and Nancy Ronewicz and was raised, went to school and graduated in Redford Twp. MI.
Then she met and later married David Rambow from Farmington MI., with whom she had two wonderful children: Michelle and David Jr. We all loved her dearly.
Karen is also survived by sister Lynn and nephew Michael, late sister Janice, brother-in-law Tim, also her dogs and grand-dogs: Rocky, Shelby, Rosco, Lexi, Lucy; Cuckoo the parrot and the Kodi the cat. Karen's had too many pets to mention and she loved them all dearly, like we all loved her. I know she loved Jesus, too, so Christmas was her favorite holiday.
As much as Karen loved her flowers, she had always wanted any donations or money that would be spent on flowers to go to the dog rescue league or humane society of your choice.
Another donation option, not to be forgotten, is our disabled veterans who have given more than the rest of us could imagine. Many of which were hung out to dry on the battlefield, through no fault of their own, only to come home and watch the news to see what this country has become and wonder what the hell they were fighting for to begin with. You know, our pets were bred to depend on us for survival in return for the utmost loyalty and friendship. They were never given any rights or a chance to vote, although I am sure if they had - they would've made far better choices than we have.
Memorial gathering of family and friends will be held at the O'Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home, 41555 Grand River Avenue, Novi, 248-348-1800 on Saturday, June 10, 2023 from 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM with a memorial service at 2:00 PM.
