Karen A. Brown-Hepp age 53 of Apple Valley, MN. Born February 12, 1962 in Detroit, MI to Carl and Marilyn Brown, passed away September 23 after many courageous battles with cancer. Karen was a substitute teacher in school districts:191, 192 & 196 where she loved her students as much as she did teaching. She was also very involved in 4H, Girl Scouts, Destination Imagination and many other programs over the years. She was preceded in death by her father, Carl. She will be dearly missed by her husband of 25 years, Brian; daughters, Holly and Kaitlyn; mother Marilyn Brown; siblings: Maryanne (Harlan) Wherley, Jean Brown and Martin(Michelle) Brown and many nieces, nephews family and friends. Instate Saturday October 3, 2015 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 24505 Meadowbrook Road, Novi from 10:00 AM until time of funeral liturgy at 11:00 AM.Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
