Joseph Tomakowski, Jr., age 85.
August 1, 2012.
Beloved husband of Susan Marie for 62 years.
Dearest father of Susan (Jeff), Joseph D (Diane), John (Judie), Dan (Kathy), Judy, Colleen (Rob), Jennifer and the late Nancy Brownell.
Brother of Thomas, and the late Richard and James.
Grandfather of nine and great grandfather of two.
Joseph retired from the Detroit Fire Dept as a Battalion Chief with 36 yrs. of service.
Visitation will be on Friday, August 3, from 4-9 pm with a scripture service at 7:00 pm at O'Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home, 41555 Grand River Avenue, Novi (248) 348-1800.
Instate Saturday at Holy Family Church, 24505 Meadowbrook Road, Novi from 10:30 am until time of funeral liturgy 11:00 am.
