Beloved husband of Lorraine A. Smith for 48 years.
Loving brother of John (Frieda) Smith, James (Mary Ann) Smith, Jerry Smith, and Christine (James) Heidt.
Dear uncle of numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Mr. Smith retired from the Detroit Fire Department as an Arson Investigator.
Visitation at the O'Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home, 41555 Grand River Avenue, Novi, 248-348-1800 Sunday, September 23, 2018 from 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM with a K of C service at 6:00 PM.
Instate Monday, September 24, 2018 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 24505 Meadowbrook Road, Novi from 10:00 AM until time of funeral liturgy 10:30 AM.
Interment will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at 2:00 PM.
Memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
