Joseph H. Marras, Sr., left us on January 17th, 2024, at the age of 75. He passed away at home surrounded by his loved ones. He will be sadly missed and will always hold a place in our hearts. Joe was a veteran of the Navy and continued later in life as a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 20-18. He was a small business entrepreneur throughout life including being the proprietor of Marras Music Company in Livonia, MI. He was a concert level accordion player and loved performing for friends and family. He enjoyed mentoring young adults especially in sales.

Joe was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Maryann Baiardi-Marras, and his sons, Anthony Carpenter (Becky), Rocco (Angela) Marras, and Joseph (Miranda) Marras. Joe had three grandchildren, Zachary Carpenter, Lindsey Carpenter, and Alexander Marras. He was also survived by three great-grandchildren.

Gathering of family and friends on Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at St. Edith Catholic Church, 15089 Newburgh Road, Livonia from 10:30 AM until time of Memorial Mass 11:00 AM. Inurnment will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly at a later date.
