Mr. Ryan retired as Senior Vice President and Corporate Personnel Director from Manufacturers Bank after 34 years of service. After retiring he was a Travel Agent for Professional Travel. John thrived on helping people pursue their careers. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts from Albion College and an MBA from the University of Michigan. He was an avid Detroit Tigers fan and was a Detroit Red Wings season ticket holder for 25 years. John enjoyed cruises, reading, boating, line dancing, bowling and most of all, family events. Funeral service 11 am Monday, June 4, 2018 at Kenwood Church of Christ 20200 Merriman Rd. Livonia. Family will receive friends from 10 am until time of service. Interment Parkview Memorial Cemetery.
