Beloved husband of Roberta for 48 years.

Dear father of Lisa (David) Baird, John R. (Michelle), and Michael (Jennifer).

Loving son of the late Adolph and Julia.

Grandfather of Katharine, Christopher, Allison, Marissa, Johnny and Andrew.

Brother of Janice (John), Loretta (Tom), and the late Julie Anne, also brother–in-law Joseph and sister–in-law Anne (Lawrence).

Uncle to three nephews and one niece

John worked for 47 years at Detroit Edison/DTE and retired as the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board.

John's passions include his wife and family, faith, and Detroit Edison with an occasional golf game.

Visitation at the O'Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home 41555 Grand River Avenue, Novi 248-348-1800 Tuesday 3:00pm-9:00pm with a Scripture Service at 7pm.

In State at Our Lady of Victory 133 Orchard Drive, Northville Wednesday at 9:30am until funeral liturgy at 10:00am.

Memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Victory Parrish and School, Catholic Central High School or Mercy High School.
