John E. Lapham, age 74, passed away surrounded by his family on October 29, 2016 in Fenton. Beloved husband of the late Sandra; dear father of Stephanie (Keith) Garwold, Jeff, and Suzanne (Scott) Dolkowski; loving grandfather of Helen, Sara, Peter, Charlie, Nathan, and Ian; brother of Mike, Jim, Joe, Mary, Tom, Bill, Sue, Ann, and Pat.

John took great pride in his loving family as well as serving on the Great Lakes National Cemetery Honor Guard for over 15 years.

Visitation at the O'Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home, 41555 Grand River Avenue, Novi (248) 348-1800 on Tuesday, November 1, from 3:00-8:00 pm. In state 10:00 am, Wednesday, November 2, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 24505 Meadowbrook, Novi until time of funeral liturgy at 10:30 am. Interment at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly.
