John E. Dewan (aka Jack) of Farmington Hills
Age 91. 2-23-30 to 11-14-21. Devoted husband of the late Joan (nee McEachren). Loving father to Nancy Dewan (Matt Schlegel), Brian Dewan (Joni), the late Christine Morgan and the late Laura (aka Shonnie) Hogue. Grandfather of Jack Morgan, Eric and Natalie Hogue, Allison Schlegel, Molly and Marnie Dewan. In Jack's words "it's been a great life!" Jack was a compassionate caregiver who always asked "So how are you doing?" He was always willing to help anyone in need and provide a listening ear. Korean War Vet and proud member of the Operating Engineers #324. Also survived by two siblings and many nieces and nephews. Celebration mass for Jack and Chris Morgan will be held at St. Owen Catholic Church, 6869 Franklin Road, Bloomfield Hills, on Friday, November 19, 2021 at 11:00 AM.
