In Loving Memory of Jimmy Wayne Wampler
It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jimmy Wayne Wampler, age 70. He was born June 4, 1953 in Upland, California. A beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother. Jimmy departed from this world on June 22, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of love, wisdom, and selflessness.
Jim had a profound love for his family, pizza and U of M football. He is survived by his wife of 49 years Pam, his children Cindy Rhodes (Dan) and Tony Wampler (Caroline) and his grandchildren Duke and Elle Rhodes. Mother, Eileen Wampler, sisters Sharon Wampler, Cathy Wampler and Brenda Wampler, brother, Roger Wampler and several nieces and nephews.
Jim possessed an unwavering devotion to his wife, Pam who stood by his side through thick and thin, sharing countless precious moments and building a love that knew no bounds.
Jim was a doting and proud grandfather to Duke and Elle Rhodes, and a source of joy and inspiration in their lives. His presence will forever be missed, but his love will continue to resonate in their hearts.
A man of great wisdom and empathy Jim possessed an old soul that shown through in his interactions with others. His wisdom will forever echo in the minds of those he touched.
In his free time, Jim enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, whether it was savoring a slice of his favorite pizza or cheering on his beloved Michigan Wolverines. However, his greatest happiness came from spending time with his family.
Jimmy Wayne Wampler leaves behind a void that cannot be filled, but his memory will continue to inspire and guide us. He was a beacon of love, wisdom, and selflessness, and his legacy will live on through the lives he touched. As we mourn his loss, let us also celebrate the beautiful life he lived and the profound impact he made on those around him.

Visitation will take place Monday, June 26, 2023 from 4-8 pm at the O'Brien/Sullivan funeral Home 41555 Grand River Ave. Novi, MI 48375.

A Celebration of Life will be held in his honor and we invite all who knew him to join us on Tuesday, June 27, 2023 @ 11:30am with visitation 10:30 am until time of the Celebration. In lieu of flowers please consider donation to University of Michigan cardiac center.
