Dear husband of Marie for 61 years.
Son of the late Elizabeth & George Crandon.
Brother of the late Jim (Shirley) Crandon ,Elizabeth (Wally) Maes and Peggy (George) Stein.
Brother in law of Helen (Jack) Regan, Patricia O'Dowd, Angie O'Dowd
and the late Thomas J. O'Dowd.
Proud uncle of many nieces and nephews and 16 great nieces and nephews.
Jerry graduated from Detroit Catholic Central in 1947. He served in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict. He retired from the Detroit News in 1992.
He was an avid gardener,and he and Marie enjoyed extensive traveling during their retirement. Jerry was known for his sense of humor with his twinkling blue eyes,and he enjoyed making people happy.
Visitation at St. Patrick Catholic Church 711 Rickett Road Brighton Thursday May 10 12:45pm until the funeral Liturgy at 1:30pm.
