Smith, Robert "Jay" Age 78 September 19, 2020. Loving husband of Susan of 56 years. Beloved father of Michael (Janine), Justine and Todd (Jennifer) Smith. Grandfather of Colin, Claire and Kendall. Dear brother of Lynn (Chuck) MacIver. Brother -in-law of Julia (Robert) Stange. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mr. Smith was born May 15, 1942 in Detroit, MI to the late William and Margaret Smith. Jay worked for Ford Motor Company for 38 years. He loved being retired and took exceptional pride in doing his yardwork. Private family services were held. A Celebration of Life will be held whenever the situation of the pandemic allows.
