James Robert Wilson, age 76, of Novi passed away October 14, 2021 due to complications of vasculitis. Beloved husband of Annette Wilson, and loving father of Ken and James Wilson and Jennifer Cloutier (Curtis). He is survived by his sister, Carolyn Wilson and predeceased by his sisters, Patricia Keddie (Russ) and Joan Richmond (Glenn). He has five grandchildren, Gregory, Olivia, Madison and Paige and predeceased grandson, Nathan. He worked at DTE for over years 30 years, worked part-time for the City of Novi for approximately 10 years and coached the Novi High School Bowling Team for over 15 years.
Jim was an avid bowler and enjoyed coaching the Novi High School Wildcats Bowling Team. He also was an avid runner and ran a number of marathons. He enjoyed many other sports, softball, squash and hockey to name a few.
Jim was a loving and caring husband and father. Everything he did was with purpose and passion whether it was washing the car, maintaining the house, working, or playing and coaching sports. Wherever he went and whatever he did, he always made it better for the next guy. He will be greatly missed.
Visitation 3-8 pm Monday, October 25, 2021 at the O'Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home 41555 Grand River Ave Novi, MI.
Funeral mass 11 am Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at St. James Catholic Church 46325 Ten Mile Rd. Novi with visitation 10:30 am until time of mass. Interment Roseland Park Cemetery, Berkley, MI.
