Age 89
Loving husband of Dorothy A. for 37 years.
Dear father of James O. Trew Jr. and Hon. Mary S. ( Lisa Bekier) Trew, and the late Martha Trew.
Stepfather of Nancy (Tom) Curley and Patricia Malone.
Grandfather of 4 and great grandfather of 2.
Jim played professional baseball in his youth and later coached baseball and football in the Detroit Public Schools for 20 years. He was a scout for several major league baseball teams including the Detroit Tigers. He loved the game of golf and played on several leagues.
Visitation Sunday 2-5pm at O'Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home, 41555 Grand River, Novi (248) 348-1800. Jim will be laid to rest in Freeport Cemetery in Freeport Michigan.
