In Loving Memory of James Robert Trenkle

James Robert Trenkle of Novi, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at the age of 84. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Marilyn, and his parents Francis and Clare. He is survived by his stepdaughters, Paula (Mark), and Melaine (Mike) and his brother, Robert James. He has many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
Jim spent the majority of his life working in the Tool and Die industry until his retirement. Jim's commitment to hard work remained evident, as he took on part-time employment at Meijer until his health took a turn.
Jim and Marilyn shared a passion for travel, exploring various stadiums across the country to cheer on their favorite sports teams. Jim's love for history and his role as a well-read historian were evident in his conversations, where he shared his knowledge with anyone willing to listen.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at the funeral services to be held on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 24505 Meadowbrook Road, Novi. Visitation will begin at 10:30 AM, followed by a funeral liturgy at 11:00 AM. There will be a livestream of the Funeral Mass, to view the livestream click here .
