Ponder, James L. "Jim" Age 48 February 24, 2017 Beloved husband of Kelly of 23 years. Loving father of Alexis and Madison. Dear son of Pamela and the late James T. Ponder. Step-son of Lynda Ponder. Brother of Janet(Tom) O'Connell, Tim, Melissa(Scott) Barret. Son-in-law of Albert and Nancy Chargo. Brother-in-law of Jackie(Darrin) Plys. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Also survived by several close friends. Mr. Ponder was a graduate of Michigan State University with a bachelor degree in mechanical engineering. He worked at Ford Motor Company (Livonia Transmission) for over 20 years. Visitation will be 2-8 Friday, March 3, 2017 at O'Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home 41555 Grand River Ave Novi, 248 348 1800 with visitation from 9:30 am until the funeral liturgy at 10 am Saturday, March 4, 2017 at St James Catholic Church 46325 10 Mile Rd. Novi.

Interment Oakland Hills Memorial Gardens.
