Obituary

Jaclyn "Jackie" Kay Sicilia

January 12, 1976 – November 7, 2021.

Beloved wife of Tom Sicilia, married for 20 loving years.

Loving mother of Madison and Mia (Val).

Dear daughter of Bob and Judy Overmars.

Treasured sister of Jaime LaBelle and beloved aunt to Reagan, Cami, Tyler and Blaise.

Jackie is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws.

Jackie was a 1994 graduate of Novi High School which guided her on to Central Michigan University where she graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology and made many friends and special memories, graduating alongside her sister in 1999.

Jackie's family was everything to her. She was a doting mother to her children Madison and Mia, being a mother was her greatest joy. She was a caring and loving wife. She loved her pets, Alex her (late) precious rescue kitty and her beloved dog Max.

She most enjoyed her role as a stay at home Mom but also loved her years working for her Dad at the 3-generation family business in Detroit, Associated Specialties.

Some of her favorite activities were arranging flowers and spending time talking and sharing with family and friends. She enjoyed flower design, she also loved to decorate and make her home a beautiful and peaceful place. Sadly Jackie was not blessed with good health in the past few years and she worked hard to be healthy and strong for her family.

She loved spending time at her family's lake house making memories in the summer and delighted in decorating her home for Christmas and hosting Christmas Day.

A visitation for Jackie will be on Thursday November 11 beginning at 2 pm to 8pm with a rosary at 7p, at the O'Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home.

A funeral service for Jackie will take place at the O'Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home beginning at 11 am on Friday November 12.

Jackie will be laid to rest at Glen Eden Memorial Park.

Donations in Jackie's honor can be made to Leader Dogs for the Blind a charity dear to her Great Aunt and Grandmother or the Michigan Humane Society where Alex found her way to Jackie.
