Isaly Szetela, a beloved wife, proud mother, loving daughter, and cherished sister, passed away on October 12, 2023, at the age of 56. She is survived by her devoted husband, Mark, and their son, Mark, who were the center of her world.
Born on September 7, 1967, Isaly was the dear daughter of Raymond III and Michelle Butters. She was also the sister of Raymond IV, a close-knit family that shared a special bond. Isaly was a niece of Charles and Diane Morgan, Rick & Beth Morgan and had a warm relationship with her extended family.
Isaly was a graduate of Central Michigan University, where she pursued her education with dedication and passion. She went on to have a successful career with Merrill Lynch in Chicago, where she exhibited a remarkable work ethic and professionalism.
In 1998, Isaly joined in matrimony with her loving husband, Mark, marking the beginning of a beautiful journey together. In 1996, the couple embarked on a new venture, founding Vettestorations in Southfield, a testament to their entrepreneurial spirit and shared dreams.
Isaly's life will be celebrated during visitation at the O'Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home, located at 41555 Grand River, Novi, on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. with a Scripture Service at 6:00pm. In-state at St. James Church, 46325 10 Mile, Novi, on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, starting at 10:00 AM, with the funeral liturgy to follow at 10:30 AM. She will be laid to rest at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
