Hunter Waters
08/13/1978 - 02/26/2011Washington, D.C.At age 32 passed away Saturday morning, February 26, 2011 at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C. after a courageous battle with esophageal cancer. His loving and devoted wife Kris and family were by his side. He was born August 13, 1978 in Birmingham, Alabama to Rose Anne (Ferrante) Waters-Albano. Hunter graduated from the Boston University and in 1999 he began his internship for CNN, quickly advancing to senior producer for the lead political production of Larry King Live. Hunter loved life and lived it to its fullest. He was an avid boater, enjoyed travelling (especially with Kris) and spending time with family and friends. On July 29, 2006 he married Kristine M. Coratti and she survives. Survivors also include his mother and step-father Rose Anne and Paul Albano of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, two brothers Richard (Sarah) Waters and Charles Waters, father and mother-in-law Thomas and Janice Coratti of Walled Lake, brother-in-law Bryan Coratti of Chicago, Illinois and numerous close friends and colleagues.Visitation will be at O'Brien-Sullivan Funeral Home 41555 Grand River Ave., Novi, MI on Friday from 1-8pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 am. Saturday at St. Colman of Cloyne, 32500 Middlebelt Rd., Farmington Hills where he will lie in state from 9:00am. until the time of service. The Rev. Fr. Brown will officiate. Procession and burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery in Southfield, MI.
