It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Henryk Michal Harbar, who left us on June 9, 2024, in Novi, Michigan. Born on November 2, 1942, in Gdynia, Poland to Michal and Czeslawa, Henryk lived a life full of love, passion, and dedication to his family and hobbies.
Henryk was the beloved husband of Jadwiga Harbar for many cherished years. He was a devoted father to Lucyna Harbar and Cezary Harbar, and a proud grandfather to Cameron Degeorge , Lynette Degeorge and Nathan Harbar. Henryk's siblings, Mirek Harbar, Lucian Harbar, and Bozena Harbar, will also miss him dearly.
Henryk worked at Chrysler for 20 years. Throughout his life, Henryk had a profound love for boat building and saltwater fishing. These activities were not just hobbies but passions that brought him immense joy and tranquility. He spent countless hours crafting boats with precision and care and found both excitement, friendship, and relaxation in the waters he finished.
A memorial mass to honor and celebrate Henryk's life will be held on Friday, June 21, 2024, at 11:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, located at 830 South Lafayette South Lyon. Family and friends are invited to gather at 10:30am and remember the remarkable man Henryk was and the lasting impact he made on those who knew him.
His legacy of love, and dedication will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends.
