Helen Walczak (nee Evans) Age 89
December 21, 2011.
Beloved wife of Frank who passed away in 1993.
Dear sister of Ted and Mike Evans and Ann Helganz.
Sister-in-law of Rhea Sturock. Mrs. Walczak is also survived by her nieces, Nancy Rovik, Carol Martin, Kathy Irvine, Vanessa Thilbault, Sharron Smith, Mary Grabowski, nephews Thomas and Edwin Evans, Russell Helganz, Jim Sturock. Wonderful great-aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Helen was a retired stenographer for the Reid Corporation. She graduated from Southwestern High School and enjoyed music; she was the first cellist in the all city high school Symphony and she won the District Spelling Bee in or about 1934.
Visitation at the O'Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home, 41555 Grand River, Novi 248-348-1800, Monday December 26, from 2-9 PM. Instate Tuesday 9:30 AM until funeral liturgy at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 23815 Power Rd., Farmington. Donations may be made to Interlochen Center for the Arts, P.O.
