In Loving Memory of Harriet F. Gentile

Harriet F. Gentile, age 93, passed away on December 24, 2023, surrounded by the love of her family. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert F. Gentile and a cherished mother to Diane Gentile, John (Beverly) Gentile, and Gary (Theresa) Gentile.

Harriet was a devoted grandmother to Joseph (Lori), Ann (Christian) Pellegrino, David (Hannah) Gentile, Lisa Gentile, Christina (Justin) Harris, James (Kelly) Gentile, and Elizabeth Gentile. Her legacy continues through her great-grandchildren, Jackson, Paige, Layla, Luca, Sofia, Sebastian, and Grayson.

Preceded in death by her siblings Edward, Cass, Irene, and Celia, Harriet is survived by her brother-in-law Gerald (Kitty) Gentile and Rick (Kathy) Bombrisk.

Harriet's zest for life was evident in her love for playing bridge and her passion for travel, exploring the world extensively. Above all, she cherished the moments spent with her family, creating lasting memories that will be treasured by all who knew her.

Memorial Visitation will take place at the O'Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home 41555 Grand River Ave, Novi 48375 on Friday, January 12, 2024 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held at St. James Catholic Church 46325 W 10 Mile Rd, Novi, 483754 at 10:00 AM, on Saturday, January 13, 2024 after a brief visitation period beginning at 9:30 AM. Harriet will be laid to rest at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, MI.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Foundations , a cause close to Harriet's heart.

Harriet F. Gentile will be deeply missed but remembered fondly for her warmth, kindness, and the love she shared with those fortunate enough to be a part of her life. May she rest in eternal peace.
