Harold Constantine Hill  age 99, long-time resident of Novi, died June 15, 2011.Beloved husband of the late Mary Catherine (nee Matthews) for 70 years.Dearest father of Barbara (Len) Speranza and Terry M. Hill.Loving grandfather of Leslie (Lee) Davis and Stephanie (Brian) Hipp.Proud great-grandfather of Alexa and Zoey Davis, and Andrew, Nicholas and Elizabeth Hipp.
Dear brother-in-law of Harriet Matthews, Shirley Matthews and Richard Burton.Survived by his brother John Hill, as well as many nieces and nephews.Son of the late August and Caroline Hill. Brother of the late Mercedes Kraft, Fred Hill, Larry Hill, Joe Hill, Eddie Hill, Mary Gault, Agnes Harb and Evelyn Dwyer.

Harold proudly served as a Staff Sergeant in the First Marine Air Wing in the Pacific Theatre during  WWII.He was a lifetime member of American Legion Farmington Post 346 and in addition, a life member of the Monaghan Knights of Columbus. Harold was a long time employee of the US Postal Service and a Stileman at Tiger Stadium for many years.
