BRADSHAW, Harold Frederick, Jr. November 19, 2020. Beloved husband of the late Barbara. Survived by his nephew Peter MacDonald of Oakville, Ontario and many dear friends. Harold was married to the love of his life Barbara for 63 years. He was a school teacher, coach and administrator in the Detroit Public Schools for over 40 years. Many of his students fondly remember him as a man of integrity and loyalty for his unwavering support of his "kids". Harold honorably served his country during World War II and was a prisoner of war in Germany for 9 months. Instead of focusing on the hardships he experienced as a prisoner of war, he often remarked that his time spent as a captive made him a better person. Burial services with Military Honors will be held at Great Lakes Memorial Cemetery on December 1, 2020 at 12:30pm.
