Gregory Michael Oust was born in Chicago, Illinois on May 23, 1972. He is the beloved son of Robert and Gail Oust of McCormick, South Carolina. Greg is the brother of Elizabeth Lense of Ferndale, Michigan and uncle of Brianna Brys (Michael), Novi, Michigan and Caitlin Helms (Michael), Noblesville, Indiana. He is great uncle to Caden, Emma, and Nolan Brys. Greg graduated from West Bloomfield High School and was self employed as a custom tile installer. In his spare time, Greg enjoyed crafting unique pieces of jewelry for friends and family members. Prior to his spinal cord injury in 2010, he loved outdoor activities such as exploring the Upper Peninsula with his friends on their dirt bikes.
