Schimizzi, Gracian J. "Joe" March 22, 2009 age 86. Beloved husband of Frances for 59 years. Loving father of Antonio (Mary), Josephine (Brian) Kuehn, Gracian Jr., Carlo (Diane), Dominic (Olga) and Vincent (Cheryl). Dear grandfather of Jason, Dan, Gracian, Maria, Franco, Marco, Vincent, Michael and Anna. Great-grandfather of Gabriella, Joseph, Fernando, Orlando, Antonio and Isabella. Son of the late Antonio and Josephine. Brother of Domenic, Mary and Ned. Uncle of many nieces and nephews. Gracian was born in Platí of Calabria, Italy on May 16, 1922. He retired from Ford Motor Company as an Industrial Engineer. His hobbies included playing cards, bowling and gardening. Spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren is what Gracian enjoyed most. Visitation at O'Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home, 41555 Grand River, Novi (248) 348-1800, Wednesday 1-4 & 5-8pm, rosary 7pm. Instate Thursday 10am at Holy Family Church, 24505 Meadowbrook, Novi until funeral liturgy at 10:30am. Entombment at Oakland Hills Memorial Gardens.
