Gloria Jean Mandziuk
January 3, 1944 – September 16, 2024

Gloria Jean Mandziuk passed away peacefully on September 16, 2024, at the age of 80, surrounded by her loving family. Born on January 3, 1944, to Chester Plewinski, Sr., and Phyllis Plewinski (née Manley), Gloria was a cherished mother, sister, and friend.

She is survived by her devoted daughter, Christine Giacobbi, as well as her siblings, Joseph Plewinski, Arthur Plewinski, and 3 grandchildren Louis Giacobbi, Justin Giacobbi and Thomas Hicks. She was preceded in death by: Her siblings Chester Plewinski, Jr, Daniel Plewinski, Gail Papon, Patricia "Patsy" Plewinski, Patty Plewinski; and her Son, Mickey Mandziuk. Gloria also shared a special bond with her beloved dog, Markey, who brought her great joy and companionship.

Gloria's life was filled with simple pleasures, such as dancing, exploring new restaurants with friends and family, and enjoying the beauty of nature through sight-seeing and tending to her plants. She had a creative spirit, and her love for arts and crafts was evident in the personal touches she added to her home and gifts to others.

Gloria's warmth, joy for life, and love for her family and friends will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A memorial service will be held at Holy Family Parish Novi, MI on Saturday, October 19, 2024 with visitation from 10:00 am until the Funeral Mass begins at 10:30 am. In lieu of flowers, donations in Gloria's memory may be made to the Capuchin Soup Kitchen .
