Glenn Gray Lamoreaux, 70, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on December 7, 2022. He was born on October 12, 1952 in Highland Park, MI and graduated from Henry Ford High School in 1970. Following high school, Glenn found a passion for cars and enjoyed fixing them up, eventually earning the title amongst friends of being a "grease monkey." He enjoyed many long hours working with friends to restore old cars as well. Glenn and Shelley were married on October 21, 1978 and had two children (Valerie, 41 and Cynthia, 37) while residing in Redford Twp. for the past 37 years. Glenn was a hard working husband, father, and grandfather, proudly retiring from Sears Service after 39.5 years in 2017. He absolutely loved his grandchildren and would spend many weekends with them and Shelley having sleepovers and creating long lasting memories together. His grandchildren were truly a gift to him, loving each one for who they uniquely are. Glenn also had a passion for camping. He and Shelley have a permanent campsite at Haas Lake Michigan for their 25-foot trailer, it was a place of rest and enjoyment for him. Glenn was also a NASCAR fan, if he couldn't be at the track, he was watching the races on tv at home. His family said he loved his screen time, sometimes even watching both his tv and phone simultaneously. Glenn had the ability to make friends with anyone he met and had an infectious laugh that would fill the room. He will be truly missed by all who knew him including his friends at Redford Coney Islan
