Gerald "Jerry" F. Tanner passed away on Thursday, June 29, 2023 in Novi at the age of 82. Beloved husband of Betty (nee Csizmadia) for 58 years. Loving dad of Cynthia (Todd) and Christopher (Jennifer). Grandpa of Austin. Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Jerry was the son of the late Wilbur and Cletus. Brother of Patricia (Michael) Winston and the late Janice (Curtis) Anderson, Barbara Ketz. Brother-in-law of Frank (Marge) Csizmadia. Visitation at the O'Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home, 41555 Grand River Avenue, Novi, 248-348-1800 on Friday, July 7, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Instate Saturday, July 8, 2023 at Church of the Holy Family, 24505 Meadowbrook Road, Novi from 10:30 AM until time of funeral liturgy 11:00 AM. Interment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Southfield. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or American Heart Association
