Monley, Gerald J. Jr. October 18, 2016, Age 84 of Westland. Beloved husband of the late Madonna. Loving father of Deborah (Jean) Ormechea, Victoria Monley, Gerald J. Monley III, Mary (Randy) Adrian and Patrick Monley. Preceded in death by Sharon, Michael and John David. Grandfather of Melissa (Christopher) Smith, John-Mark (Lisa) Ormechea, Mary Katherine (Justin) Genrich, Kevin Ormechea, Sean Patrick, John David II, Jake, Cameron and Christian Adrian. Great-grandfather of Isaac Joshua Genrich. Dear brother of Richard (Ruth) Monley. Mr. Monley was a Veteran of the United States Army serving during the Korean Conflict. Gerald was internationally recognized for his commercial art and graphic illustrations. He was an avid golfer with numerous hole in ones and local championships. Mr. Monley taught at The Center for Creative Studies, had a generous heart and a great sense of humor. Celebration of Life will be held 1pm Friday, October 21, 2016 at Amantea Restaurant 32777 Warren Rd. Garden City.
