Georges Selim   Age 89August 9,  2013Beloved husband of Susan (Pazgrat) Selim and the late Maxine.Dear father of Gladys (Philip) Wright, Hyatt (Patrick) Connors and David.Grandfather of Kyle, Quinn, Kendal, and Amanda.Survived by many loving friends and family throughout the world.Georges was born in Mosul, Iraq. He received his bachelor's degree from the University of Baghdad and his masters  in civil engineering from the  University of Michigan.  Employed by University of Michigan for over 40 years in construction management.  He was the author of  the "Barrier Free Design" handbook and a staunch U of M football fanatic.The family will recieve friends Saturday, August 17,  from 10:30am until the memorial service at 11:00am  at Church of the Holy Family, 24505 Meadowbrook Rd., Novi.Donations may be made to American Heart Association, www.heart.orgAmerican Diabetes Association www.diabetes.org , Holy Family Church http://www.holyfamilynovi.org/ or Charity of Choice.
