George D. Russell age 94 of Novi, Michigan died June 7, 2015. Born March 4, 1920 in St. Joseph, Michigan and raised in Ecorse, Michigan. George married Charlotte Threloff of River Rouge. They had three wonderful children Beverly, Donald and Dennis, four grandchildren Patrick, Michelle, David and Derek and three great grandchildren Hallie, Brooke and Luke. Mr. Russell was in the service from 1941 to 1945 and stationed in England with the 8th Army Air Force, B17 Bomb Group. He retired from Great Lakes Steel Company as a supervisor for 35 years. He moved to Mesa, Arizona and went to work at Mesa, Arizona police department for 6 years. Charlotte passed away and George moved back to Michigan.

Visitation Friday, 2-7pm with funeral service at 7pm at O'Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home, 41555 Grand River, Novi
