Marjorie Basar Age 79 May 23, 1927 September 28, 2006
George was born on July 7, 1925 the youngest son of Yugoslavian parents John and Mary (Bahoric).
Dear parents of George (Stephanie), Donald (Cynthia), John (Paige), and Randall (Pamela ).
Proud Grandparents of 9 and great grandparents of 10 and aunt and uncle to many nieces and nephews.
George served on the USS Hornbeam in the Coast Guard in WWII. When he returned from the war he married Marjorie Mae Frank and while working as a pattern maker, they built a home in Birmingham were they raised their four sons. Marjorie and George were married for 56 years. They were active members of the Slovene American Club for over 56 years. Marjorie preceded George in death and was cremated.
Visitation and Memorial Service to celebrate the lives of Marjorie and George will be held Wednesday from 3-9 with a memorial service at 8:00pm at the O'Brien Sullivan Funeral Home 41555 Grand River Novi 248-348-1800.
They will interred together at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, MI. on Thursday at 1:30pm
