Dear Husband of Joyce Janet (Heron) for 47 years.
Beloved Father of Andrea Marie (James) Rzepka and Christopher M. (Susan).
Son of the late Domenico and Christina D'Alessandro.
Proud Grandfather of Jack, Mackenzie, Alex, and Luke.
Brother of the late Dante D'Alessandro  and Philomena (Salvatore) Gianino.
Brother in law of Mary.
Dr D'Alessandro graduated from Wayne State University then founded the Regional Mental Health Clinic.
Geno had a passion for apples and farming and loved his farm with 3,500 apple trees. He loved to fish and was a proud veteran of the Korean War. He had a unique talent of telling tales.
Visitation at the O'Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home 41555 Grand River Novi Friday 2-9pm  Scripture Service 7:oopm.
In state at Holy Family Church 24505 Meadowbrook Novi Saturday 10:30am until the funeral liturgy at 11:00am.
Interment at St Hedwig Cemetery.
