Genevieve Terlecki, age 100, passed away peacefully on April 5th, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Stanley Terlecki for 68 years and the devoted mother of Richard (the late Mary) Terlecki, Susan (Larry) Penar, and Brian Terlecki. Genevieve was also a cherished grandmother to Sheri, Eric, and Sarah, and a great-grandmother to Josh, Jessica, Jacob, Abbey, and Ethan. In addition, she was a proud great-great-grandmother of three. Genevieve was born on May 27, 1922, in Detroit, Michigan. She was a devout Catholic and an active member of the Holy Family Catholic Church, where she attended Mass regularly. Genevieve was a loving mother and devoted homemaker, who took great pride in caring for her family. She was an excellent cook and her meals were always a highlight of family gatherings. Genevieve will be remembered for her kind and gentle nature, her unwavering faith, and her dedication to her family. Her legacy of love and kindness will live on through her family and all those whose lives she touched. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 13th, 2023, from 2-7pm at the O'Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home, 41555 Grand River Avenue in Novi, (248)-348-1800. Genevieve's Funeral Liturgy will take place on Friday, April 14th, 2023 at the Holy Family Catholic Church, 24505 Meadowbrook Road in Novi. Family and friends are welcome to pay their respects at the church from 10:00am until the time of the liturgy at 10:30am. Entombment will follow at the Oakland Hills Memorial Gardens in Novi, at 3:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the
